Korean Ambassador Graces UITS Seminar Marking 50 Years of Bangladesh-Korea Relations.
The University of Information Technology & Sciences (UITS) hosted a seminar titled “Bangladesh-Korea Relations” on May 8, 2025, at the Ratnagarva Tahmina Rahman Multipurpose Hall, marking 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two nations. His Excellency, Park Young-sik, Ambassador of The Republic of Korea to Bangladesh, was the Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker. Special Guest Mr. Mohammed Mohsin, Vice Chairman, PHP Family, Honorary Consul of The Republic of Korea and Member, UITS Board of Trustees, also attende the event.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran and the national anthems of Bangladesh and The Republic of Korea, followed by a welcome from Vice Chancellor Dr. Md. Abu Hasan Bhuiyan. The Ambassador highlighted growing educational, economic, and cultural cooperation between Bangladesh and Korea. An interactive Question-answer-session with students and faculty followed. The seminar, anchored by Registrar Md. Kamrul Hasan, showcased UITS’s dedication to global engagement and academic collaboration.
