Corruption will reduce inequality: ACC Chairman
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Dr. Mohammad Abdul Momen said, ‘Corruption creates inequality in society, the more corruption is reduced, the more inequality in society will be reduced.’
Today, Sunday (May 18), at 2:30 pm, at the end of the ACC public hearing organized by the Anti-Corruption Commission, Integrated District Office Habiganj, in collaboration with Moulvibazar District Administration and District Corruption Prevention Committee, Dr. Abdul Momen said these things in response to questions from journalists.
In his opening speech at the public hearing, the ACC Chairman said, ‘Corruption creates inequality. The more corruption can be reduced, the more inequality will be reduced.’
Dr. Abdul Momen said, ‘Not only the ACC, but also the heads of government offices keep their offices open one day a week to listen to service seekers. They will listen to their complaints and provide solutions.’
The ACC Chairman said, to prevent institutional corruption, officials must be more sincere in providing services and prioritize the needs of service recipients.
The event paid tribute to the martyrs of the recent student movement in July-August, the language movement of 1952, and the martyrs of the great liberation war of 1971. After a brief discussion, the public hearing of the complainants began.
