    Fire in the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court

    This time, a fire broke out on the third floor of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court. The incident occurred at 10:45 am on Tuesday due to a short circuit in the roof storeroom on the third floor of the Appellate Division. The fire burned paper and stationery items in the storeroom.

    Supreme Court Public Relations Officer Md. Shafiqul Islam said that within 15-20 minutes of the fire, the Supreme Court staff was able to control the fire using fire extinguishers. Meanwhile, members of the fire service also reached the spot. Later, they brought the fire completely under control.

    He also said that the fire burned paper and stationery items and some plastic products in the storeroom. However, there was no major damage.

    Shafiqul Islam said that there were no documents or official documents related to the case in the storeroom. Office supplies are kept here.
