Missile attacks on Israel from Yemen at night
Amid tensions with Iran, Israel has once again been attacked by Yemen’s armed group Houthi. The attack lasted from Saturday night to Sunday morning (June 15). Missiles were fired throughout the night. At this time, ordinary people ran for safe shelter.
Israeli authorities said that this time the attacks came not only from Iran, but also from Yemen – from where the Iran-backed Houthi group launched missiles. This is the second active participation of the Houthis in the ongoing conflict.
Earlier, Israel was attacked by the Houthis last Tuesday. The group had announced that it had launched missiles there. In response, Tel Aviv bombed the Houthi-controlled port of Hodeidah in Yemen.
