Trump’s warning to Iran
A sharp conflict is underway between Iran and Israel. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has warned Iran. He said that the United States is not involved in Israel’s attack on Iran. However, even if US interests are attacked, US forces will attack with full force.
Israel launched a surprise airstrike on Iran early on Friday (June 13) without provocation amid Washington-Tehran talks on the nuclear issue. That attack is still ongoing. Israel attacked Iran on Sunday as well.
According to Al Jazeera’s report, Israel bombed civilian and energy infrastructure across Iran for the second day on Saturday (June 14).
The Iranian military is responding to the Israeli attack. They most recently launched a major missile attack on Israel on Saturday (June 14) night.
Iran has warned the US, UK and France against assisting Israel. The country’s government said in a statement that its bases and ships in the Middle East will be targeted if they help repel Iranian attacks on Israel.
In response, Trump said in a post on Truth Social,
We have no hand in attacking Iran. If Iran attacks our interests in any way, the United States Armed Forces will operate with full force at a level never seen before.
He added, “However, we can easily make a deal between Iran and Israel and end this bloody conflict.”
