Mostafa Mohsin Montu did not compromise on ethics: Mirza Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has described Gono Forum President Mostafa Mohsin Montu as a true freedom fighter.
The BNP Secretary General went to Square Hospital to see Mostafa Mohsin Montu on Sunday (June 15) after receiving the news of his death. He made the comments while talking to reporters later.
Mirza Fakhrul said that Mostafa Mohsin Montu was a true freedom fighter. He never compromised on ethics and morality.
Referring to the great loss of losing him in the current context, he further said, “We have lost a prominent and patriotic political figure today. Such a person was greatly needed in the current situation of the country.”
Meanwhile, the family has informed that the first funeral of Mustafa Mohsin Montu will be held at the Elephant Road Mosque at 8:45 pm.
The second funeral will be held in Keraniganj at 9 am on Monday (June 16). His body will be taken to Shaheed Minar after Zuhr to pay tribute that day. Later, he will be buried at Banani Graveyard after the guard of honor.
Mustafa Mohsin Montu was ill for about two months due to various physical problems, including old age. Finally, he left this world at the age of 79.
