Protest demanding postponement of HSC exams
The rate of corona infection is increasing alarmingly. Examinees have protested in Rajshahi demanding the postponement of the Higher Secondary (HSC) exams by two months.
On Tuesday (June 17) afternoon, about a hundred examinees gathered in front of the Rajshahi Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. From there, they held a protest rally and blocked the road in front.
In the program that lasted about half an hour, the students said that there is a risk of infection in the exams starting from June 26.
The students participating in the protest said, “The way the corona infection is increasing in different districts of the country including Rajshahi, it can be dangerous to take the exam at this time. Many students can be infected. Who will take responsibility for this?”
They demand that the exam schedule should be postponed for at least two months. Otherwise, they warn of strict programs to fulfill their demands.
