‘Olympic Day’ Run Organized to Practice Brotherhood, Harmony, and Discipline: Army Chief

Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman said that the Olympic Day Run is being organized to practice brotherhood, harmony, unity, and discipline.

He said this at the closing ceremony of the Olympic Day Run-2025 at the National Stadium in the morning. The Army Chief said that to encourage sports, the Bangladesh Olympic Association will organize various physical activities throughout the year. In the meantime, various programs are being organized in the divisional cities.

He also said that sports should be spread throughout the country and physical exercise should be continued. The number of fields in Dhaka is decreasing day by day. Due to which there is no space for sports. That is why such activities will be continued, the Army Chief said.
