UAE strongly condemns Iranian attack on US base in Qatar

The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned Iran’s retaliatory missile attack on the Al-Udeid US military base in Qatar.

The country’s state news agency WAM said in a statement that the Emirates considers the attack by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard on Qatar’s sovereignty and airspace a direct violation of international law and the UN Charter.

The statement also said that the Emirates strongly opposes any attack that threatens Qatar and regional security.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia and Qatar have also reacted strongly to the Iranian attack.

The Al-Udeid base is one of the most important US military bases in Qatar, where US and Qatari troops are jointly stationed.

Meanwhile, the Director of Communications at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a statement condemning the Iranian attack on the US base in Qatar. In which Iran’s attack is condemned in strong language.
