Iran hangs three more people for spying for Israel

Three more people have been hanged in Iran for spying for Israel, the country’s judiciary-affiliated news agency Mizan reported. BBC reported. The report said they were also accused of trying to smuggle equipment to carry out assassinations in Iran.

The convicts were named as Idris Ali, Azad Shojaei and Rasoul Ahmad Rasoul—who were arrested and tried on charges of working for Israel. The state-run Noor News reported that 700 more people have been arrested in Iran on charges of involvement with Israel during the 12-day conflict.

It is worth noting that after 12 days of airstrikes, US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, to which both countries agreed.
