    Bus driver arrested in Natore road accident case

    The Highway Police has arrested bus driver Mamunur Rashid in Natore road accident case in which four people including the driver of a CNG autorickshaw were killed. Mamunur Rashid, who was arrested, was sent to court on Wednesday (June 25) afternoon. Earlier, he was arrested from Chakpara area of ​​Rajshahi around 8 pm on Tuesday (June 24). The arrested Mamunur Rashid is the son of Ashraf Ali of Bhangra village of Puthia police station in Rajshahi.

    Officer-in-charge of Jhalmalia Highway Police Station, Mahbur Rahman said that on June 20, around 4:30 pm, a passenger bus of Rabbi Paribahan ran over a CNG autorickshaw in the Bonbelgharia area of ​​the Natore-Rajshahi highway. A total of four people including the driver were killed in this incident. The wife of the CNG driver Babu filed a case under the Road Traffic Act as the plaintiff in this incident. Later, Jhalmalia Highway Police Station arrested bus driver Mamunur Rashid with the help of information technology. He was later sent to court on Wednesday afternoon.
