Rain forecast in eight divisions

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has said that there may be thundershowers in eight divisions of the country in the next 24 hours. The agency also said that there may be moderate to heavy rain in some places. This information was given in the forecast given by Bangladesh Meteorological Department meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque on Thursday (June 26).

The Meteorological Office said that by 9 am on Friday (June 27), many places in Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and some places in Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions may experience temporary gusty winds and lightning/light to moderate rain/thunderstorm. Along with this, there may be moderate to heavy rain in some places across the country and the day and night temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
