US and Israel together will make the Middle East great again: Netanyahu
The Israeli prime minister has thanked Trump again after condemning the ongoing corruption trial against Netanyahu. This information was reported by Al Jazeera on Sunday (June 28). In a post on social media, Netanyahu said, “Thank you again, Donald Trump. Together, we will make the Middle East great again.”
On Saturday, Trump sharply criticized Israeli prosecutors regarding Netanyahu’s corruption case, saying, “The United States will not accept this after giving billions of dollars in aid to Israel.”
Netanyahu was indicted in Israel in 2019 on charges of bribery, fraud and breach of trust. He denies all of these charges. The trial began in 2020 and involved three criminal cases. The International Criminal Court has also indicted Prime Minister Netanyahu on war crimes charges in Gaza. More than 56,000 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 2023. Israel has also killed thousands of people in attacks in Lebanon and Iran.
