The autopsy of the bodies of a husband and wife and their child recovered from a residential hotel in the capital’s Moghbazar has been completed. On Monday (June 30), around 2 pm, the autopsy was completed at the Dhaka Medical College Morgue by Dr. Zakia Tasnim, a lecturer in the Department of Forensic Medicine.
After the autopsy, Dr. Zakia said, looking at the symptoms of the three bodies, we think they died of food poisoning. Blood and viscera have been collected from the bodies. They will be sent to the Mohakhali laboratory for analysis. When the report comes, we will be able to tell the real cause of death.
Earlier, Ramna Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Md. Jalal Uddin prepared the autopsy report of the three bodies. In the autopsy report, he mentioned that there were no injury marks anywhere on the bodies of the three bodies. It is initially believed that they died due to food poisoning. The bodies have been handed over to their relatives after an autopsy.
