Extortion will not be tolerated: Home Affairs Advisor

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has said that no kind of extortion will be tolerated. He spoke to reporters at the Secretariat on Monday (July 28). The Home Affairs Advisor said that extortion will not be tolerated in any way. No matter how powerful the extortionist is or whatever his identity is, no concession will be made to them. He said that training of law enforcement members will be given step by step from August ahead of the elections. Md. Jahangir Alam said that strong efforts are being made to control drugs. Drug carriers are being caught, but drug godfathers are not being caught. Efforts are being made to catch them.
