Seven issues to be discussed in the meeting of the Consensus Commission on the last day

Seven issues including presidential election, powers and responsibilities will be discussed on the last day of the Consensus Commission. On Thursday (July 31), after 11:30 am, the discussion began at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital under the leadership of the Vice President of the National Consensus Commission, Professor Dr. Ali Riaz. Today’s discussion topics include the formation and election process of the upper house, the basic principles of the state, the provisions for the appointment of the Public Service Commission, the ACC, the Auditor General and the Comptroller and the Ombudsman. There is, the expansion of the fundamental rights of citizens. The commission expects that the unresolved proposals can be resolved by today. As usual, representatives of all political parties have participated in the meeting today.
