12 projects inaugurated in Rajshahi at a cost of Tk 35 crore
Asif Mahmud Sajeeb Bhuiyan, Advisor to the Ministry of Rural Development and Cooperatives, inaugurated 12 projects under implementation under the Ministry of Rural Development and Cooperatives in Rajshahi. He inaugurated the projects at the Circuit House in Rajshahi on Saturday (August 9) morning. It has been informed that these projects will be implemented at a total cost of Tk 35 crore. The projects include – widening of the road from Kashem Bazar in Tanor Upazila of the district; four-storey newly constructed building of Lakshmipur Government Primary School under Rajshahi City Corporation; construction of the 72-meter long Pantapara-Kadamshahar Bhagail Bridge in Godagari Upazila; laying the foundation stone of a one-storey land office in Bagmara Upazila; inauguration of the newly constructed second market building of Haripur Hat in Paba Upazila; newly constructed building of Dhorsa Government Primary School in Mohanpur Upazila; The newly constructed building of Sonadighi Government Primary School in Godagari Upazila; laying the foundation stone of the two-storey building of Birkutsa Hat in Bagmara Upazila; inauguration of the newly constructed building of Chak Chhatari Government Primary School in Bagha Upazila; inauguration of the silt removal work of Nimpara-Habibpur Canal in Charghat Upazila; inauguration of the newly constructed second-storey building of Hargram Notunpara Primary School under the jurisdiction of RASIK and inauguration of Rajshahi Central Eidgah. Divisional Commissioner Khondaker Azim Ahmed NDC, Deputy Commissioner Afia Akhtar, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Abu Sufian, District Police Superintendent Farzana Islam and other senior officials were present at the time. Later, Asif Mahmud left for Natore. He will inaugurate various projects including the Upazila Mini Stadium there. Later in the afternoon, he will return to Dhaka after visiting the Rajshahi Divisional Stadium. Earlier, the advisor arrived in Rajshahi this morning on a one-day visit.
