2 motorcyclists killed in truck accident in Banani

Two motorcyclists were killed in a truck accident in Banani, the capital. The accident occurred around 9:30 am on Sunday (May 25).

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Banani Police Station Russell Sarwar confirmed the information of the two fatalities. He said that the accident occurred around 9 am on Sunday. However, the identities of the deceased were not immediately known.

Sergeant Sagar Kumar Ghosh of Banani Traffic said that they died after being hit by a readymix vehicle of ABC Company. The vehicle was seized, but the driver is absconding. Fire Service and Banani Police Station recovered the two bodies and took them to the hospital for autopsy.
