    2 Myanmar nationals arrested for drug smuggling in Naf River, Yaba

    The BGB has arrested two Myanmar nationals for drug smuggling in Naf River in Teknaf under the guise of a jail.

    On Wednesday (June 18) night, the Teknaf battalion of the BGB arrested two Myanmar nationals named Mohammad Zubair and Nurul Amin.

    According to BGB sources, special patrols had been deployed in several strategic places on the Naf River and its banks based on secret information. At that time, BGB members chased them after seeing the movement of a boat and became suspicious.

    Later, they were arrested from inside Bangladesh. The boat was seized at that time. Along with this, 120,000 pieces of Yaba hidden inside the boat were recovered.
