248 more people admitted to hospital due to dengue

248 more people have been admitted to hospital due to dengue in the last 24 hours. They were admitted to the hospital from 8 am yesterday, Wednesday (June 18) to 8 am today, Thursday (June 19). However, no one died due to dengue during this period.

This information was given in a press release sent by the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday afternoon.

It was said that among the newly admitted to the hospital, the maximum number of people is 104 in Barisal division, 18 in Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation), 39 in Chittagong division, 20 in Dhaka North City, 35 in Dhaka South City, 18 in Rajshahi division, 7 in Khulna division, 4 in Mymensingh division and 3 in Rangpur division.

A total of 6,926 patients have been admitted to hospital due to dengue since January this year. 30 people have died.
