3 dead, 35 injured in German hospital fire

A hospital in Hamburg, Germany, has been badly damaged by a terrible fire. At least 3 people have died in the fire. More than 35 people have been injured in the incident. This information was reported by the British media outlet BBC in a report.

The hospital authorities said that a fire suddenly broke out on the ground floor of the Marian Hospital at midnight on Sunday (June 1). More than 35 people, including patients, were seriously injured. At least 18 of them are in critical condition.

Several units of the hospital were evacuated urgently when the fire broke out. Two seriously injured people were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Fire department spokesman Lorenz Hartmann said that several people who were unable to move due to age had to be held and moved into the corridor. Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control before it spread to other patient rooms.

However, the cause of the fire is not yet known. Hamburg police are investigating the investigation.
