    5.8-magnitude earthquake in Turkey, 1 dead

    A 5.8-magnitude earthquake struck the Marmaris region in southwestern Turkey early Tuesday. One person was killed and at least 70 others were injured in the earthquake, the AFP news agency reported.

    Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya posted on social media that a 14-year-old girl had died after being frightened by the sudden earthquake. She died from a ‘panic attack’. Initial reports said no buildings were damaged in the earthquake.
