71 people pushed in through the Baralekha and Srimangal borders of Moulvibazar
The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has pushed 71 people through the Baralekha and Srimangal border areas of Moulvibazar. The push-in incident took place early today (July 3). The BGB said that 48 people were pushed into Bangladesh territory through the Pallathol border in Baralekha upazila in the early morning. Among them, 18 children, 15 women and 15 men. After entering Bangladesh, they were roaming in the hilly areas. Later, a BGB patrol team arrested them.
The BGB claimed that all the arrested people are citizens of Bangladesh. They had gone to India through the border areas of Kurigram and Jessore districts for medical treatment and work at different times. On the other hand, the BGB has arrested 23 people, including women and men, who were pushed in through the Sindurkhan border in Srimangal.
