Anisul, Salman, Shahjahan remanded for 2 days
The CMM court in Dhaka has ordered a 2-day remand for former ministers Anisul Haque, Salman F Rahman and Shahjahan Khan in the Jatrabari police station Sajedur Rahman murder case.
In addition, former MP Kazi Monirul Islam Monu has been given a 1-day remand and Rear Admiral Sohail has been given a 3-day remand in murder cases of various police stations.
In addition, former MP AKM Sarwar Jahan Badsha and former State Minister ABM Tajul Islam have been arrested in different murder cases of the July Movement.
In the hearing, the state’s lawyer said that the accused played a role as financiers and planners in the conspiracy to commit murder in the anti-discrimination movement. He also accused the leaders and activists of inciting them through controversial statements in the media.
