Another Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet crashes
Another Ukrainian F-16 fighter jet has crashed, killing its pilot, the Ukrainian military said, AFP reported. According to the report, the Ukrainian military said the fighter jet crashed while defending against Russian missiles and drones on Saturday night (June 28). Its pilot was also killed at the time. However, it was not clear in which area it crashed.
The military also said that this is the third F-16 fighter jet to crash in the war against Russia. A statement said, “The pilot used all his weapons to shoot down seven targets. His plane was damaged while shooting down the last one.”
It was also said that the pilot tried his best and took the fighter jet away from populated areas. But in the end it crashed and he did not have time to get out. The Ukrainian military said Russia fired 477 drones and 60 missiles of various types into Ukraine overnight. Ukrainian forces destroyed 211 drones and 38 missiles.
