Bangladesh is optimistic about the win

Today India and Bangladesh start the T20 series with their first match. However, Bangladesh without Shakib hopes to do well in T20 despite losing the Test series.

After losing the two-match Test series against India by a margin of 2-0, the Bangladesh team is entering the T20 battle.

Tawhid Hriday, who represented Bangladesh at the pre-match press conference yesterday, said, “Of course we have come here to win.” We are well prepared. Hope to do well. Our aim is to win the series and play well.

Bangladesh team has faced 14 times against India in T20 International. There is only one win. It came in 2019, in Delhi. They last met in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Bangladesh lost that match in North Sound of West Indies by 50 runs. And the two teams are facing each other again after 2019 on Indian soil.

Tawhid Hriday said, “There has been no international match here yet. Domestic cricket games and international matches are different things. I think I will understand when the game starts here. How is the wicket? I have seen the wicket in practice, here the wicket is slow and low bounce. Matches with big runs on such wickets are rare. IPL was not played here. Let’s see what happens in the end.

However, Tawhid Hridyo is not thinking about who is in the opposing team and who is not. They will enter the field with a bird’s eye view of victory. He said, “There is a chance to beat them, but we haven’t beaten their big team. There is no big team or small team in T20. The one who does well will win. Incidentally, the second T20 match will be played in Delhi on October 9 and the last T20 match of the series will be held on October 12 in Hyderabad.

Bangladesh T20 squad: Nazmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Liton Das, Mehdi Hasan Miraj, Tanjid Hasan, Tanzim Hasan, Parvez Hossain Imon, Mahmudullah Riyad, Zaker Ali, Mostafizur Rahman, Tawhid Hriday, Sheikh Mehdi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Shariful Islam and Rakibul Hasan.
