The Bangladesh Navy has provided relief and medical assistance to 1,000 families in St. Martin’s. The Navy conducted relief distribution activities yesterday, Sunday and Monday.
It is learned that the Navy’s ship ‘Banouja Pratyay’ distributed free medical services and medicines at the BN Islamic School and College grounds in St. Martin’s. More than five hundred people, including children, women and men, received medical services in this medical campaign. The Navy’s expert medical team provided medical services to people suffering from various diseases with sincerity.
At this time, necessary medicines were distributed free of charge among those receiving medical services. The Navy has undertaken this activity to help those affected by heavy rains and stormy winds caused by the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. This assistance activity of the Navy will continue until the hostile situation normalizes.
