Biman makes it mandatory for employees to wear automatic body cameras to prevent theft and harassment
The national carrier Biman Bangladesh Airlines is making it mandatory for employees to wear automatic body cameras to prevent irregularities, theft, harassment and ensure passenger service. Biman Bangladesh CEO Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan gave this information at a workshop organized on the Right to Information at the headquarters on Thursday (June 26) afternoon.
Stating that immediate action is being taken if any negligence or irregularities are found by officials and employees, Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan said that an initiative has been taken to close unprofitable routes to reduce losses and launch possible new routes. Among these, it has been decided to cancel direct flights to Narita, Japan due to continuous losses. Biman CEO also said that two aircraft will be leased to operate possible new routes.
