    BNP leader’s wrist severed, two Chhatra Dal leaders expelled

    Two Chhatra Dal leaders have been permanently expelled for breaching discipline in Bhola’s Borhanuddin. They are Deula Union Chhatra Dal Vice President Md. Rakib Bepari and Tobgi Union Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Md. Tohin Farazi.

    On Saturday (June 21) night, Upazila Chhatra Dal President Danish Chowdhury and General Secretary Tanjil Howlader announced their expulsion in a press release signed by them.

    The release said that Rakib Bepari and Tuhin Farazi were permanently expelled from organizational activities including primary membership based on specific allegations of breaching organizational discipline.

    At the same time, Chhatra Dal leaders and activists at all levels were instructed not to have organizational relations with them.

    Earlier, the Upazila Chhatra Dal issued show cause notices to accused Deula Union Chhatra Dal Vice President Rakib Bepari and Tobgi Union Chhatra Dal Joint General Secretary Md. Tuhin Faraji. Upazila Chhatra Dal President Danish Chowdhury confirmed the expulsion of Rakib and Tuhin. Incidentally, on June 15, in a clash between the two BNP factions in Deula Union’s Majam Bazar, the wrist of ward BNP President Anisur Rahman was severed. 10 more people were injured. It is alleged that the expelled people were involved in the attack.
