Cat arrested for attacking police in Thailand
A typical day at the Bangkok police station. Suddenly, the rhythm changes. Not a thief-robber-murderer-terrorist, but a police officer suddenly caught a cat.
The South China Morning Post reported that the American Shorthair cat was wandering around the streets of Bangkok, lost and disoriented. The officer decided to keep it in his custody because he was enchanted by it. But as soon as he entered the police office, the cat’s magical appearance changed! The animal started scratching and biting everyone it could find.
Several police officers were injured. Angrily, it was decided to arrest it. To keep a criminal record of the attack on the police, the cat’s mugshot was taken and posted on social media along with the photo. It was said that if the owner did not come immediately and release him on bail, the cat would be thrown in jail.
When this incident spread, a commotion started on social media! Many people were interested in adopting the cat. After a while, its real owner was found. It turned out that the animal’s name was ‘Nub Tang’, which means ‘counting money’! ‘The cat did not bite intentionally, it was just acting recklessly because it was hungry’ – Nub Tang was returned to its owner with a bond.
