Ceasefire has begun, please do not violate: Trump
US President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire after the recent conflict between Iran and Israel. However, immediately after the US President’s announcement, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)-affiliated Fars News Agency reported that US President Donald Trump’s ceasefire announcement was ‘completely false’. Since the US government’s ceasefire announcement, Iran has fired 10-15 ballistic missiles in six rounds at Beersheba, Israel since the morning. Then, the US President posted on Truth Social at around 11:30 am Bangladesh time, saying, ‘Ceasefire has begun, please do not violate.’
According to a report by Israel’s Channel 14, the death toll in the Iranian missile attack in the city of Beersheba has risen to 4. Local administrations said that efforts are underway to rescue several people trapped in a building.
Linoy Reshef (spokesperson for the Southern Region Fire and Rescue Team) said that several people are still trapped in a building that was damaged just before the Iran-Israel ceasefire took effect. Rescue operations are underway to rescue those trapped.
