Elephant attack on Bubli-Sajal shooting, question on permission for Joya
Shabnam Bubli and Sajal are shooting for the movie ‘Shapla Shaluk’ on the Indian border in Nalitabari Upazila of Sherpur. On Wednesday morning, a group of elephants attacked some parts of the shooting set. Actress Joya Ahsan has drawn the attention of the Forest Department to this incident and questioned the permission for shooting.
Joya Ahsan wrote on Facebook, “This is another nuisance in the forest. I am drawing the attention of the Forest Department. Can light camera action be started whenever I want?”
Joya then raised the question and wrote, “The sound of the microphone, the waste of the shooting team, singing and playing music, are these allowed in such a sensitive place?”
The director of the movie, Rasheda Akhter, told the media, “The movie is action, romantic and completely commercial in style. It also has some touches of the classical genre. We have finished shooting the first part in Sherpur. We will shoot here for a few more days. In the meantime, the incident happened.” But now we are all safe.
