Extortion and looting in the name of politics are being observed in different parts of the country: Jamaat Ameer
The upcoming elections must be fair. The people do not want any other elections – this is what Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman commented. He said this at a road meeting organized in the Paduar Bazar Bishwa Road area of Comilla Sadar Dakshin Upazila on Saturday (July 5) morning. The Jamaat Ameer also said that in the future, any fascism – new or old – will have to be resisted strongly. He also said that extortion and looting in the name of politics are being observed in different parts of the country recently. I will tell the parties concerned, be careful, handle yourselves. Otherwise, the people will handle them. Earlier, he addressed another road meeting in Alekar Char area of Adarsh Sadar Upazila.
