Fierce firing in Pakistan, 9 including soldiers killed

Amidst the tension between Delhi and Islamabad over the horrific attack in Kashmir’s Pahalgam, there has been a massive firing in Pakistan. Nine people, including an army personnel, have been killed in this.

The Inter-Services Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army said in a statement that terrorists engaged in a massive firing with the army in 3 districts of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Eight terrorists, including an army personnel, have been killed in this.

Based on intelligence information, Pakistani troops conducted operations in North Waziristan, Khyber and Bannu districts last Saturday and Sunday. During this, there was a heavy exchange of fire with the terrorists.

Israel’s target in 3 countries
After the operation, weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the terrorists. They were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces as well as innocent civilians in the area.

It is worth noting that the ceasefire with the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) government ended in November 2022. Since then, terrorist activities have increased significantly in Pakistan, especially in KP and Balochistan, in the past year.
