Former Joint Secretary of Gulshan Thana BNP shot dead in capital
Former Joint Secretary of Gulshan Thana BNP Kamrul Ahsan Sadhan was shot dead by miscreants in the Gudaraghat area of Madhyabadda in the capital. Two men shot him from behind around 10:30 pm on Sunday. He fell down instantly after being shot at close range.
Police and witnesses said that after finishing his political work, he was sitting on a chair in front of a shop on Road No. 4 in Gudaraghat and chatting. At that time, two youths came from behind and shot him from close range. Sadhan’s bloody body, which was shot, lay there for some time.
Later, some youths came and rescued him from a hospital in Mohakhali. From there, he was sent to the National Heart Institute for advanced treatment. The doctor on duty there declared him dead.
The deceased’s wife claims that the murder was committed due to political rivalry. She wants exemplary justice for the murder of her husband. Sadhan’s village home is in Lakshmipur Sadar. His wife said that after the funeral, he will be buried in a graveyard in Kamarpara, Ashulia.
