    Golam Parwar calls for creating a mass movement against Jamaat

    Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General and former MP Professor Mia Golam Parwar said, we have to start preparing now in view of the 13th National Parliament elections. Jamaat’s registration and symbol, the scales, have been returned as per the decision of the Election Commission. Now it is time to return to the National Parliament with the verdict of the people.

    He made these remarks as the chief guest at separate road meetings organized by Jamaat at Sikirhat, Fultala Bazar and Shiromani Shaheed Minar on Sunday (June 15) morning on his way back home after performing Hajj.

    He said, “Despite the repeated changes of government in the country, the desired welfare of the people has not been achieved. We have seen the rule of all parties, now people want to see Islamic rule. Therefore, Ameer Jamaat Dr. We are moving forward with the goal of building a welfare state under the leadership of Shafiqur Rahman.

    Professor Parwar called on voters to vote for candidates with Islamic values, honesty and dedication to public welfare in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

    He said, “If 151 God-fearing representatives can be sent to parliament, Bangladesh will become a true welfare state. Sustainable development in various sectors including employment provision for unemployed youth and improvement of education standards will be possible.”

    He also said, “After the mass uprising of ’24, Bangladesh has got an opportunity to build a new one. To utilize this opportunity, we all have to be aware of fascism, discrimination, occupation and oppression.”

    He highlighted the suppression of terrorism and development of Fultala-Dumuria during his tenure as MP from 2001-2006, and said, “I worked to build a terror-free township. If the people elect me again, I will bring sustainable and realistic development to this region, InshaAllah.’

    The roadshows were presided over by Fultala Union Jamaat Ameer Master Mofizul Islam, Upazila Jamaat Ameer Professor Abdul Alim Molya and Thana Jamaat Ameer Dr. Syed Hasan Mahmud Tito. Leaders of Khulna District Jamaat and various organiza- tions were also present.
