Women and Child Affairs Advisor Sharmin S Murshid said that the government is going to take some visible policy decisions to curb violence against women. Which the people of the country will soon see. If these decisions are implemented, violence against women will reduce to some extent.

She said this while talking to reporters on the first working day after Eid at the Secretariat on Sunday (June 15).

She said that the issue of violence against women has never been under control in this country. It will take some more time to develop and establish the work that we have undertaken now. In this regard, we have taken many actions and brought structural changes. Which have not been highlighted yet. The victims are actually being provided medical and legal assistance under the watchful eye of the government. She also commented that arrangements for supervision and rehabilitation are also being made.

She also said that I hope everyone will start working vigorously after the long vacation. Everyone has to do their own work. There is no vacation for higher-ranking officials. Juniors enjoy the holidays.
