    Hamas leader Sinwar killed: Netanyahu

The Israeli army has killed Hamas leader Mohammed Sinwar in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced this information on Wednesday (May 28). The deceased is Mohammed Sinwar, the younger brother of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar.

The news agency Reuters reported this in a report. However, Hamas has not yet commented on this.

Reuters says that Mohammed Sinwar was the ‘target’ of an Israeli attack on a hospital in southern Gaza earlier this month and on May 21 Netanyahu said that ‘he may have been killed’.

Confirming the matter in the Israeli parliament known as the Knesset, Netanyahu said, We have eliminated Mohammed Deif, Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Sinwar.

He also said, ‘In the past two days, we have brought Hamas to the dramatic point of complete defeat. Israel is also taking control of food distribution (in Gaza).

According to the report, Mohammed Sinwar took over as Hamas’ top leader after Yahya Sinwar was killed by Israeli forces last year.
