Israel may try to assassinate Ayatollah Ali Khamenei

An Israeli political source said that the possibility of assassinating Iran’s supreme religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei cannot be ruled out. However, it will depend on many things.

The Times of Israel reported this information in a report on Sunday (June 15) citing the Wall Street Journal.

An official from the country said that killing Khamenei is not beyond Israel’s limits. Because we are continuing to attack Iran’s nuclear and military facilities. This war will end if Iran voluntarily stops its nuclear program.

It is worth noting that Israel has carried out 70 airstrikes on more than 40 military facilities in Iran in the last two days. At least 80 people, including important figures in the Iranian military, have been killed. Among the dead are nuclear scientists, soldiers, the head of the IRGC, the head of the Aerospace Force, and high-ranking officials of the Air Force.

In retaliation for the attack, Iran has also carried out several counterattacks. Seven soldiers, including several others, were killed in the attack. Most recently, Iran launched a series of missile attacks on various important installations in the country on Saturday night. Seven people have been reported killed so far in the overnight attacks. At least fifty have been injured.
