    Israel reopens airspace

Israel has reopened its airspace after the ceasefire with Iran took effect.

On Tuesday (June 24), Al Jazeera reported, citing the Israeli airport authority, that Israel’s airspace has been reopened after being closed for a while due to an Iranian ballistic missile attack.

Earlier, a BBC report said that US President Donald Trump said that the Iran-Israel ceasefire is now in effect.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, “The ceasefire is now in effect. Please do not violate it.”

Earlier, Trump called for a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. He called for a ceasefire after Iran’s attacks on US bases in Iraq and Qatar. Trump also said that a 24-hour ceasefire process will begin in stages from Tuesday morning. Where Iran will unilaterally stop all activities. Israel will take the same step 12 hours later.

Although Iranian and Israeli media outlets have announced that a ceasefire has taken effect, no one in the country has officially confirmed Trump’s agreement.

Israel launched its first attack on Iran on June 13. Iran then launched retaliatory attacks. Hundreds of people have been killed in Iran and dozens in Israel in the past 12 days of conflict.
