Jeet saddened by Mukul’s death
Popular Indian actor Mukul Dev has left for his homeland at the age of 54. He breathed his last on Friday (May 23) night. After his death, a shadow of grief has fallen on the showbiz arena.
Another actor Manoj Bajpayee confirmed the news of the actor’s death. He breathed his last on Friday night at a hospital in New Delhi after being ill.
Mukul’s colleagues are expressing their condolences and posting various messages. Among them is popular Tollywood actor Jeet.
He is deeply saddened by the news of Mukul’s death. Posting a picture with the actor on his social media account, Jeet wrote, My dear co-actor Mukul, my heart is heavy to hear the news of your passing. We shared so many funny moments and unforgettable memories together on the sets. I will forever remember the joy and vitality you brought to every scene. Rest in peace.
The late famous actor caught the attention of the audience by playing the role of a villain in the film ‘Awara’ opposite Jeet in 2012. In that film, Jeet and Sayantika were in the lead roles. And Mukul was seen in the role of the villain, his character’s name in the film was Tony Bharadwaj.
Then in 2014, Bollywood actor Mukul worked with Jeet again. The film’s name was Bachchan. Mukul’s character was the Underworld King Master, directed by Raja Chanda.
As soon as the news of Mukul’s death came out, Bollywood stars started visiting his house.
Apart from Manoj Bajpayee, Bindu Dara Singh and Deepshikha Nagpal also expressed their condolences on social media.
Mukul was a versatile talent. He worked equally well on all platforms from small screen to big screen. He was seen playing the role of a police officer in his first film ‘Dastak’. Former Miss World Sushmita Sen also made her Bollywood debut with this film. Mukul’s performance in the film ‘Jai Ho’ with Salman Khan particularly caught the attention of audiences and critics.
