Joint forces raid in Narayanganj, drugs, weapons, cash recovered, 2 women arrested

Drugs, domestic weapons and cash were recovered in a joint forces raid in Siddhirganj, Narayanganj. Two women were arrested during the raid.

On Wednesday (June 18), the army and police conducted the raid in the Adamjee Bihari Colony area from 8 pm to 10:30 pm.

The drugs and weapons recovered included marijuana, 17 domestic weapons, 4 ramdas, an army uniform, a digital scale, 11 mobile phones and 7,000 taka in cash.

At that time, two women named Farzana Akhter and Ayesha were arrested. However, an accomplice named Nadim escaped. Police said that legal action is in the process of being taken against the arrested.
