Khaleda Zia returns home, leaders and activists are excited

BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia is returning home after four months of treatment in London.

She landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:40 am on Tuesday (May 6) in a special plane (air ambulance) of the Emir of Qatar. At that time, top BNP leaders welcomed her.

Khaleda Zia and her two daughters-in-law – Zubaida Rahman and Syeda Shamila Rahman – also arrived in the country.

Khaleda Zia will go directly to her Gulshan residence Firoza from the airport. BNP leaders and activists are welcoming her on the way. Law enforcement agencies have been deployed along the route to ensure that there is no chaos due to the crowd on the road.
