Law enforcement agencies ready to deal with any situation during elections: Home Affairs Advisor
The Election Commission will decide on the elections. Whenever elections are held, the law enforcement agencies are ready for it, said Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
He said this after the meeting of the Core Committee on Law and Order at the ministry on Sunday (June 15).
The advisor said that the people of the country want to see humane police. They are much more active now than before.
On the ‘push-in’ issue, he said that if there are any Bangladeshis in India, they will be accepted if they are sent through proper process, not otherwise. The matter has been officially informed to the Indian government.
Meanwhile, the advisor also said that action will be taken against those involved in the robbery of money in Uttara on Saturday under the guise of RAB.
