Main accused in gang rape case of housewife in Tajumuddin arrested along with 2 others

Police have arrested Alauddin, the main accused in the gang rape case in Tajumuddin, Bhola. On Wednesday (July 2), based on a secret tip-off, the police arrested Alauddin from Hatia in Noakhali and another accused in the case, Farid, the joint general secretary of the expelled Upazila Sramik Dal, from Borhanuddin in Bhola.

The case states that when the woman went to Satin’s house on Sunday morning after receiving news that her husband was being held, Farid and Alauddin tortured her. On Monday, the victim’s husband filed a case naming 7 people and several unknown people as accused in the incident. After the case, the police arrested the victim’s Satin, Jharna Begum, and another accused, Manik.
