    Martyr family members broke down in tears after meeting Nahid

    Before the start of the march in Bogra, Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam met the members of the martyr’s family. At that time, the members of the martyr’s family broke down in tears after meeting him. The meeting was held at the city’s Parjatan Motel at 10 am on Saturday (July 5).     In the conversation, Nahid Islam said, ‘The dignity and sacrifice of the martyrs will be ensured through the July Charter. The trial of those who opened fire on the students and the public, including Sheikh Hasina, the Awami League and the police, will definitely be ensured. In addition, the country’s structural reforms will also be implemented through the July Declaration.’ He also said, ‘July has come again. The days of remembrance of the martyrs will be celebrated from July 16 to August 5. Our relationship with the martyr’s families is permanent. Not only the current government, but any future government must ensure the financial and social status of the martyrs’ families.’

    After meeting the martyrs’ families, Nahid Islam participated in a march from in front of the Bogra Polytechnic Institute to Satmatha with top NCP leaders. In addition, the party held road meetings at Mokamtala and Kichak Bandar in Shibganj, Bogra. NCP joint convener Dr. Tasnim Zara was also present during the meeting with the martyrs’ families.
