Milton Could Be The Most Destructive Storm Ever
Cyclone Milton has gathered more strength and is moving towards the Florida coast of the United States. Its wind speed was recorded at 281 kmph.
Milton is located 520 miles southwest of Tampa, Florida, USA. It is expected to be the most destructive storm in the last 100 years.
The BBC reported this information about the US National Hurricane Center (NHC).
The NHC says Milton is heading toward Florida. It could make landfall on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for all people along Florida’s west coast.
National Weather Service Director Ken Graham said, “Milton has grown into a Category Five hurricane at record breaking speed.” Its wind speed has increased to 148 km/h in the last 24 hours.
Just 10 days ago, the terrible hurricane “Helen” raged in the southeastern United States.
