Mirza Fakhrul goes to Thailand
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has gone to Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, for treatment. His wife Rahat Ara Begum is with him. He left Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on a Thai Airways flight at 2:45 am on Monday (May 12).
BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan said that Mirza Fakhrul will undergo retinal surgery at Bangkok’s Rutnin Eye Hospital. Yesterday, Fakhrul was taken to United Hospital in Gulshan due to eye problems. He is going to that hospital in Bangkok on the advice of doctors there. He said that Fakhrul needs an eye surgery on an urgent basis.
Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and his wife Rahat Ara Begum went to Singapore for treatment on April 6 this year.
