Moin Khan said, “We are supporting the government, we will. I hope they will be successful, they will hand over power to the elected representatives and depart with dignity.”

BNP standing committee member Salahuddin Ahmed demanded that elections be held by December at the rally.

He said, “BNP has asked for a roadmap by December. If seeking democracy is a crime, BNP will do it repeatedly. BNP hopes that the current government will establish the rule of law, this government will take the oath of Ishraq, and arrange for early elections.”

In addition to the districts of Dhaka division, leaders and activists of Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal from different parts of the country joined the rally. Today’s rally is mainly organized in Dhaka, Sylhet, Faridpur and Mymensingh.
