New message about thunderstorms till 1 am

The Meteorological Office has forecast a storm with a maximum speed of 60 kmph over 13 districts of the country by 1 am. It has been informed that there may be rain with thunder.

This information has been given in the weather forecast given for the inland river ports of the country till 1 am on Monday (May 26).

It said that rain/thunderstorm with gusty/snowy winds with a speed of 45-60 kmph from the west or northwest direction may occur over the Tangail, Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar regions.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1 (re) number 1.
